Nursing: Mapping + Video Presentation

Hello, everyone!

We’ve been working in the art department for some time now, modeling and recreating this fantastic prison setting. It’s taken us quite a while—there are countless assets (models) to create, texture, and so on. The techniques we’ve used are the same ones Stratos employed when mapping the gym, which we posted on the update blog some time ago.

In this post, you’ll be able to see detailed high-resolution images of the area, as well as a video that will take you on a virtual tour, allowing you to see each of the zones that make up this area in detail.

Although everything we’re showing you in these updates looks great at first glance, remember that EVERYTHING is subject to possible changes in the final product—the usual stuff, like a door being a different color or shape, or a light disappearing from somewhere… that sort of thing.

The process has been quite long; we started with the infirmary at the beginning of the year, and five months have passed since then. In this case, it was done by a single person, so please understand why it took so long.

Since I know you’re all restless and right now you’re probably thinking… “Yeah, yeah, whatever you say, but just show me that video already!”

Well, here it is. After you watch it, I’ll keep rambling on…
