2. Data we collect
- Account and gameplay: username, hashed password, email address, date of birth (age verification), character data, progression, inventory and gameplay logs.
- Launcher: unique installation ID, launcher and client versions, OS, language, download and patch events, integrity errors and technical diagnostics.
- Community and forum: messages, comments, posted content and moderation reports.
- Newsletter: email address and, if you provide it, preferred language.
- Browsing: IP address, device identifier, user-agent, pages visited, time spent and interaction events.

3. Purposes of processing
- Creating and managing your player account and giving you access to the game and the forum.
- Operating the launcher: delivering patches, verifying integrity and authenticating your session.
- Maintaining the security of the service, preventing cheating, fraud and abuse, and enforcing community rules.
- Handling enquiries and requests you send us.
- Sending you the newsletter if you have subscribed, plus operational service communications.
- Producing aggregated statistics on the use of the website and the game in order to improve them.
- Complying with applicable legal obligations.
4. Legal bases (GDPR)
- Performance of a contract (Art. 6.1.b GDPR): to create your account, deliver the service and operate the launcher.
- Consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR): to send the newsletter, place non-essential cookies and, where applicable, collect data from minors with parental consent.
- Legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f GDPR): to keep the service secure, prevent fraud and produce aggregated statistics.
- Legal obligation (Art. 6.1.c GDPR): when a regulation requires us to retain or disclose data.
5. Retention
- Account and gameplay data: while the account is active and, once closed, for the limitation period of any related claims.
- Forum: while the content remains published or relevant to moderation.
- Newsletter: until you withdraw your consent.
- Technical and security logs: up to 12 months, unless a longer retention period is legally required.
- Accounting and tax data: for the periods required by applicable law (generally 6 years).
6. Recipients
We do not disclose your data to third parties except where required by law or strictly necessary to deliver the service. We may rely on data processors that access data on our behalf:
- Hosting and CDN providers.
- Email and newsletter providers.

- Anti-fraud and anti-cheat services.

9. Your rights
As a data subject you have the right to:

- Restriction of processing.

- Withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.

10. Minors
The service is not addressed to children under 14. Users between 14 and 18 must have authorisation from their parents or guardians. If we detect a registration by a minor without proper authorisation, we will suspend the account.
11. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data: encryption in transit, access control, environment segregation, activity logging and internal policies. No system is infallible: if we detect a breach affecting your data we will notify you in line with GDPR.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect legal or service changes. We will publish the current version with the date of update. If the changes are material, we will notify you through our usual channels.
