1. Survive with honour
IMPRISONED is built on tension, strategy and fair playing conditions for every inmate. Any attempt to alter the game mechanics or to gain outside advantages in order to escape or dominate the map is strictly prohibited.
- No cheats or modifications: The use of third-party programs, scripts, macros, hacks or any client-side modification is prohibited.
- Abusing bugs (exploits): Do not abuse bugs, glitches or map flaws to pass through walls, turn invisible or gain any unfair advantage. If you find a bug, report it; do not take advantage of it.
- Associating with cheaters: Users who repeatedly, deliberately and knowingly play in squads with players who use cheats to get ahead in the game will be sanctioned.
- Promoting illicit content: Displaying, parodying or promoting cheating software on your game profile or associated platforms (avatars, edited screenshots, descriptions or links to hacking tools) is prohibited.
2. Respect your fellow inmates (and the Game Masters)
The atmosphere in IMPRISONED is hostile by design, but interaction between real players must remain mutually respectful. Voice chat, text chat and in-game channels are for strategy and play, not for hate.
- Zero tolerance for hate speech: No discriminatory or derogatory language, or insults based on ethnic origin, skin colour, religious beliefs, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age or nationality, will be tolerated. This includes the use of hate symbols in avatars or names.
- Harassment and bullying: Stalking, threatening, persistently harassing or impersonating other players or members of the development team is prohibited.
- Appropriate profiles:Your username and profile picture within the game’s ecosystem must be appropriate. Using your profile to spread intolerant propaganda or offensive images will result in an immediate sanction.
- Adult content:Avoid sexually explicit content, pornography or extremely obscene language in the game’s public communication channels.
3. Account security and legal compliance
Your account is your responsibility. Protect it properly.
- No account trading: Buying, selling, renting or sharing IMPRISONED accounts is prohibited.
- Security responsibility: You are responsible for the security of your account. If your account is compromised and a third party uses cheats on it, the sanction will stand. We cannot lift bans caused by negligent account security.
- Privacy (doxxing):Do not reveal personal information (real names, locations, phone numbers, private social media accounts) about other players or yourself in the game’s channels.
Enforcement of the code
Following these rules ensures that IMPRISONED is an intensely competitive, yet fair and enjoyable, experience for everyone. Breaching this code of conduct will result in the temporary suspension or permanent ban of your account and of your access to the game. The development team reserves the right of admission and the right to apply additional disciplinary measures.
