February Event - Customer Download

Hello there, prisoners!

After what has been a long wait for many, the day has finally arrived!

Today at 12:00 p.m. sharp (Spanish time), we’ll be turning on the servers to kick off this February test! That’s why we’re writing this blog post—so you can download the game client and have everything ready by then.

The last few hours have been frantic, due to some last-minute issues we detected with character creation, which caused the server to crash at times and even made us consider postponing the test for a few days… But thanks to the persistence of the programming team, they managed to pinpoint the problem and fix it.

EVENT DURATION

The plan is for the test to run for about a week so that everyone has a chance to participate. We’ll post another blog update to let you know when it ends.

LOGIN INFORMATION

Finally, we’ll all be using new passwords to log in to the client. Everyone who was registered on the forum before the 24th should have received it in your email. If you haven’t, please check your Junk or Spam folder and click “Mark as Not Junk.” This is VERY IMPORTANT to prevent this from happening again and to ensure you stay informed about future notifications.

THE BATTLES

As for combat, much to our regret, we’ve had to limit it to 1v1 for now due to the issues I mentioned earlier, and we haven’t had time to test it properly… Right now, the only place you can fight is the courtyard.

THE BOTS

If you take a walk around the active areas, there are various bots throughout the prison that you can talk to via Artificial Intelligence, and each one has a different role. For now, there’s not much you can do with them, but you can hold a conversation.

CLIENT DOWNLOAD

As for the client, you can download it from the following link: https://prisonserver.net/launcher/ImprisonedLauncher_v1.0.0.zip.

You’ll need to extract the file to the folder where you want the game files to be saved, and run the “ImprisonedLauncher.exe” file.

As you’ll see, a launcher will open to download the game. Just click “Connect,” and it will check if you have the latest version and download it if you don’t have it installed. If you already have the latest version, just click “Play.” The goal is to make it as intuitive as possible.

Our goal is to stay very active with the entire community and keep making progress so that everyone can try it out, so stay tuned for all the updates to come.
