christmas Event 2024!

Hello, Prisoners!

I know many of you were asking us for a holiday event, and we were dying to tell you that we were working on it, but like everything else, it takes time, and we weren’t sure if we’d make it in time.

Despite some last-minute hiccups, we’ve managed to work them out and get everything running smoothly, so we can finally announce that there WILL BE A CHRISTMAS EVENT this year!!

The event will take place in the coming hours, and the start time will be announced on the next blog post, so be sure to stay tuned to our usual communication channels.

The Event:

The event will consist of finding several gifts that have been strategically placed throughout the prison. But it won’t be as easy as some of you might think…

You’ll find a gift in a random area of the prison. Once you find it, another one will appear in a different corner—but don’t relax! If another player finds it before you, the gift will change locations once again. Playing during times with fewer players might increase your chances of finding it, so choose your moment wisely and get ready for the hunt.

Among the event gifts, you’ll find billiard balls. In total, there are 16 different balls—some more common and others harder to get, depending on the type of gift you open. We know completing the collection won’t be easy, but we’re sure more than a few players will spend hours trying to do it. The challenge is on!

If you manage to collect all 16 billiard balls, don’t forget to share a screenshot on any of our usual channels. We want to celebrate your achievement with you!

This event has also given us the opportunity to work on several new features, and one of the most important is the Inventory, which has been specially designed to enhance your experience.

The Inventory

The Inventory was one of the most important features we had to implement, as many others depended on it.

You can access the Inventory from the top menu in the game. This will open a window showing the items you’re carrying.

Looting Corpses

We’ve also been working on this new feature. The Rookie Crazy Bat, found in the Rookie Yard, can now be looted after defeating it.

Searchable Areas

One of the most repeated phrases by our community on the Telegram channel has been: “Please, at least put a shelf for farming plates!” Well, no sooner said than done! Now, in some areas of the prison, you’ll be able to find places to search for items. For example, in the kitchen you’ll find shelves for plates, spoons, rags, and more. You can also rummage through trash cans, where, with a little luck, you’ll come across lettuce and other useful items.

In the library, we’ve also added shelves full of books and water fountains to round out the experience.

This is just the beginning. We plan to expand these features in future updates, though it requires a lot of effort from the entire team. Thank you for your support and patience!

New Level Cap

In the last event, the level cap was set at 5, which many of you were able to reach. In this event, we’ve set the cap at level 30, so the challenge increases substantially.

The Map

We’ve prepared a temporary map so you don’t get lost in the prison, since even we get lost sometimes.

Community

Today we reached a milestone: 500 users on Telegram. We just want to thank you for your unwavering support of the IMPRISONED project, which was born out of the “Revive the Prison” movement.
