A while back, we shared some great news with you: one of the original team members, known as “Zeen,” was joining the art team to help with the massive task of creating levels (which is no small feat).
With the announcement of Legacy a few weeks ago and considering that Zeen has returned to actively working on that project, unfortunately he wasn’t able to finish the mapping he had started. However, artists understand each other, and the truth is that Zeen left me with half the work already done. As soon as I finished the previous map, I didn’t hesitate to start planning everything needed, and once I had it all figured out, I began modeling, texturing, and programming the shaders that were missing so I’d have all the necessary tools to finish it.
Zeen and I are still in touch today, and, of course, he was the first to see the finished work. This mapping was particularly complex due to the number of levels, intricate shapes, shaders, and other technical challenges, but today we can finally bring it to you.
