New website, new logo

Hello, prisoners.

If you’ve visited playimprisoned.com today, you’ve probably already noticed: the prison has gotten a makeover. (sound of a lock clicking shut)

We’re launching a new website and a new logo. This isn’t just a simple facelift—it’s the new look Imprisoned will be using for everything to come.

A logo with scars

The new logo wasn’t designed at random. The letters—all capitalized and featuring elongated vertical strokes—evoke prison walls and bars: rigid, with no escape. In the middle of each stroke, small spikes peek out, reminiscent of the sharp objects secretly crafted behind bars. The “I” conceals a knife blade integrated into the letter itself: a reminder that inside here, you must always be on guard. And the worn, cracked finish speaks to the passage of time, to the physical and psychological toll of serving a sentence.

A Website on Par with the Prison

Along with the logo comes a website redesigned from top to bottom:

• A new homepage, featuring everything that defines the game: your sentence, contraband, reputation, alliances, the progression path, and the map.
• A revamped news section that’s easier to read.
• “Our Story,” a new page where we share our origins: how Imprisoned rose from the ashes of La Prisión and why we’re still here.
• "My Account," redesigned, where you can also view your characters, and a revamped public profile.
• Everything is designed to look just as good on mobile as it does on a computer.

Credit where credit is due

There’s one person responsible for all of this: Jonathan “Urano,” creator of both the new logo and the entire website design. Every detail you see—from the bloodstains to the torn paper edges—is the result of his work. Thank you, Urano, for giving Imprisoned the identity it deserved. (applause)
